Artemis turned abruptly as she saw Flame wander away, and she paused, curious. She heard comotion from far off, and was about to investigate when the foliage parted and Flame reapeared, except this time with a rabbit in his jaws. She gave a slight smile when he dropped it at her paws, declaring he caught something. "Very goo- your hurt." Artemis stated, noting the scratches on the brutes muzzle. Before anything could be said she stepped forward and licked the wound gently, cleaning it slightly. The husky mix then backed away, blushing fiercly and thanking everything she knew that most of it was concealed by her black fur. She didn't know why she did the affectionate action, she just felt strangely... close, to this wolf. It scared her. She looked up as snow started to fall, wind picking up as the tree branches rattled. She bristled as she saw the clouds roll ominously in, declaring a blizzard was coming. She heard the warning howl from far off, and she started moving. "We got to find shelter!" She barked, quickly picking up the rabbit and pelting away, remembering an old badger den she found while hunting one day. She pelted down into it, finding it to have just enough room for about three medium sized wolves. Just perfect. She thought, knowing it was going to be a tight fit with Flame. She dropped the rabbit in a place a little ways away and settled down, waiting for Flame as it snowed harder.

Flame's ears perked forward as Artemis began speaking, and it sounded like she was praising him, which caused a warm and fuzzy like feeling fill him, yet her notice of his wounds didn't go unnoticed, and before he could brush it off, she was licking his muzzle, effectively shutting him up. He snorted, shaking it off quickly, feeling slightly embarressed yet the slight warm fuzzy feeling grow, spreading across his body. He shivered as the wind started to pick up, and he looked to see snow falling from the sky. It was beautiful for a moment, falling peacefully, yet the peace was broken when it started snowing harder. Flame nodded as Artemis said they needed to find shelter, and it only took him a moment of collecting his thoughts before he followed her, limbs stretching with each stride. He was panting by the time he caught up to her, curled up in a small den. He crawled in, turning and grabbing a large bramble, tangled around a tree branch and pulling it up against the entrance, effectively blocking out most of the wind and snow. It was a small den, and as he laid down his pelt brushed against Artemis's, causing a spark to run through him. He settled down and rested his head on his paws, staring at the den wall blankly. "How long do you think the storm will last?" He asked in an uncharacteristicly soft tone, breathing growing steady.

Marina struggled against the harsh winds and snowfall, whimpering the whole way. Her paw pads were scratched up from her traveling in snow turned ice. The wind stung her eyes, and she could barely see. Marina howled weakly as she saw other wolves, and she collasped in front of them, whimpering and shivering, only hoping that they would have a heart and take her in. "H-help." She stuttered, teeth chattering, not knowing if she was heard as she started fading out of consisness.

Ink chuckled at Axel's response to the young wolf's screeched question, amused. He was about to continue playing with the raven, but stopped short as the aggressive wolf introduced himself, and Ink relaxed when he saw that the wolf, who he now knew to be Flame, very fitting name, relaxed and didn't seem ready to attack anyone. The black brute nodded at Flame, grinning. He turned his icy blue eyes towards another canine, one that looked like a mix between a wolf and some type of dog announced she was leaving to go hunting. "Bye! Good luck!" He called, honestly hoping she was successfull at her hunt. His head swiveled around as he heard a cough, announcing another wolf's arrival. It was a female wolf, with a white pelt and blue eyes. He listened, ears perked forward, attentively listening as she told Axel and Flame that they could stick around, and then introduced herself as Tundra, the female alpha. Ink bowed his head respectfully as she looked at him, suggesting to him that he might make a good scout. He nodded furiously, grinning. "Yeah, probably. I was one of the top ones in my old pack." He said, tail wagging. He looked over, grin briefly dropping, replaced by confusion as the first wolf who had came out before and asked for all their names seemed to get agitated, telling them that he would be better suited for the rank of scout, and not seeker and went into the den, a howl echoing behind him. He noticed that Flame was gone, and he looked around. Ink watched as the young wolf trotted off, and he said a quiet farewell to him. He felt the wind pick up, bringing with it snowfall that seemed to grow in force. He shook himself, already coated in snow. He was uncomfortable, but he awaited the Alphess's command, already ready to stay in the blistering cold if he was commanded. The faint sound of whimpering reached his ears, followed by a quiet plea for help. He jumped up, nose scenting the air and he picked up the smell of a wolf. He saw a small, dark form laying in the snow and he rushed to it, picking up the young wolf without hesitation, turning to the alphess and padding closer to the entrance to the den. "We have to take her to somewhere warmer!" He said, struggling around the mouthful of fur. That is when he spotted another pup, one he remembered the black male move. He nosed it with his nose, looking back to the alphess for instruction.

Axel, in the simplist words put, 'spaced out'. He stopped paying attention to what the others were doing, lost in the twisted labrynth of his mind. How he got there, he doesn't know. Memories of the past flashed through his mind, coming in little bits and pieces, and a glazed look came over his eyes. A searing pain in his shoulder as his father sinks his fangs in and tears the flesh there- Getting flung into a tree, ribs breaking- vision swimming as he stumbled about- the warm, metallic taste filling his mouth as he sank his canines deep into his fathers throat- the shocked look in his father's eyes as he fell to the ground, lifeless- The giant was finally snapped out of his memories by the mention of his name, and it took him a few moments to remember where he was and tell who was speaking. A few moments to long for his tastes. He stared blankly at the white female who had seemingly just appeared, golden eyes slowly losing the glazed and lifeless look as he asorbed her words. He nodded, a sound of thanks escaping his throat after she was finished, learning the female to be called Tundra and to be the female alpha of the pack. Axel came to a stand, shaking out his thick fur and sighing. So he understood a few things from Tundra's words. One; He was not fully accepted, though he could stay on the territory without trouble, two; he probably had to be dealing with the alpha male sometime soon, three; he had shelter and most likely food. He could sleep finally. He shivered as a sudden gust of wind blew through his fur, barely seeping into his thick fur, which usually wouldn't affect him, except that it had also started to snow, the snowflakes falling onto him, melting from his body heat and soaking into his fur. Soon the snowfall grew harder along with the wind and he huffed annoyedly. A storm. He moved without thinking, moving past Ink and the pup he carried, slipping into the den noiselessly. He shook himself one time before creeping to a deserted corner, curling up and laying his head upon his paws.

Icethorn moved his way through the snow covered ground, ears pinned back against his cranium and head turned slightly, eyes narrowed against the wind. The harsh wind buffeted his fur, and he blended in almost perfectly with the falling snow. He had been in blizzards before, one reason being was that his old home was located in a tundra like area, and usually he would just wait it out in the den with his family, but ever since he was chased out of his pack, he didn't have such luxuries. Icethorn probably would have taken a moment to seeth about that fact, yet given the circumstances, he didn't quite have a moment. He had to find shelter, or he would surely freeze to death. As he padded along, each step a struggle, he bumped into another small form, causing him to trip and stumble slightly backwards. He snarled, muscles tensing as he prepared to fight whatever creature he had happened upon. The spit-fired young wolf stopped suddenly as he made out the form of a young wolf, about as old as he, standing in front of him. By the position she was in, it seemed she was in no position of attacking. He turned to see a large male carrying what appeared to be another life form, and it clicked in his mind that he had probably just stumbled upon. The gears in his mind started turning, thoughts starting to rush through his mind. And of course, the thoughts were focused only on his own benifet. Coming upon a decision quickly, he stumbled forward and gave a very loud yelp, making his presence known as he fell in front of the large male, whimpering loudly, acting as if he was hurt. And of course, having done it before, he was pretty good at it.

Shiklo decided to try and find the dens before he froze to death in the snow. He backtracked himself, with no pawprints to follow, just memory, and finally found the camp. He ran at full speed until he tripped over something small and white. The young warrior layed sprawled in the snow for a second before sneezeing then standing a shakeing the snow from his pelt. He turned and sniffed the pup before picking him up by the scruff and setting him in the dens before grabbing the black one and setting her beside him. They both looked old enough to be apprentices. "Are you two allright?" he asked them, wanting to make sure niether of them were injured, especially the male since he had basicly kicked him.

Blizzard was only aware of a suffocating darkness surounding him, filling all his senses. The black faded gradually and he his senses came back, until he was aware that he was laying down in his den, alone. He gave a low grumble, coming to a stand and moving out of the den, making his way to the middle of the cave. It only took him moments to notice that there was a powerful blizzard happening outside, and a stranger laying in the den. He gave a light growl, but the sound of a loud yelp pulled his attention away from the large male. What is going on? He thought, padding towards the entrance of the cave. He stuck his head out of the entrance, eyes narrowed against the wind and snow, eyes barely making out the shapes of several wolves, two large one and three little ones. He cast his dark green gaze around, and spotted two more shapes scattered around. "Get the young ones in here and out of the storm!" He barked, making his way out of the entrance as the dark male nodded once, moving into the den with the pup he had in his jaws. As Blizzard made his way towards the two shapes further from the entrance he heard a pained yelp, though as his head swung back to search for the source of the noise he saw nothing. Moving forward he came upon one of the dark shapes, one he reconized to be Jay, resting near a tree. He snarled lowly, teeth bared. Still sound asleep, even with a storm raging. He snorted, biting down on the blind healers scruff and starting to pull him to the den. Freezing to death was no good death for a wolf, even though he was a vile creature. And the white brute wanted the ability of dealing with him himself. He grunted, having some trouble pulling the form through the gathering snow when the same dark male from before appeared, grabbing on and pulling also. With the extra help he was able to get Jay at the entrance to the den, were he left him with the dark colored male, and went back to were he saw the other figure. Blizzard made his way through the snow and wind, his whole body feeling frozen, and stopped a few feet in front of the other wolf, eyes squinting. "Tundra? Come on!" He barked, recongizing Tundra to be the figure. He jerked his head towards the direction towards the den, slowly retreating.

Everything happened so fast, it dazed Crystal. She watched as Redstil came out, caustious and protective as ever when he came to stand in front of her, followed shortly by Shiklo and Artemis. After that it was a blur of new wolves, and she didn't have time to react to an especially aggressive looking wolf before being moved away towards Artemis and Shiklo, the scent of Crow lingering behind on her coat. She didn't even attempt to follow what the adults were saying after that, just zoning out till the freezing winds and snowfall snapped her out of it. Crystal looked skywards, watching the snow fall in wonder, snapping at a few flakes until the wind knocked her over and the snow fell so hard that it made it hard to see. She let out a quiet whimper, shivering. She was confused, unsure of what was happening. She stumbled as she was nudged, and as she looked up she saw a large, black colored male holding what looked like a black bundle of fur, and the distinct scent of young wolf flooded her scences. She was about to speak, but before she could even attempt to, a bulky form bumped into her, causing her to fall back. She took a moment before getting up, surprised to see that almost everybody was gone. With a whine she made her way towards the den entrance, body low to the ground. When she finally slunk through the entrance, shaking the snow from her pelt and looking around. There was Shiklo, standing with two pups. She reconized both, the one the dark pelted male was carrying and the one that had bumped into her. Crystal padded forward, curiousity sparking within her. In all her life, she hadn't really ever had wolves her age to hang out with. She bounced forward, standing beside Shiklo and grinning. "Hello! I'm Crystal, what are your names?" She asked, head tilted slightly.

Marina gave a small whimper as she was picked up, taken out of the storm and set down. The sudden warmth of another body beside hers caused her to become more alert. "Are you alright?" She lifted her paw pads, revealing the bleeding scratches on them. She didn't have enough stength for long responses, so that was her response. She blinked slowly as another wolf ran up to her, around her age and size, and introduced herself and asked for a name. Something about the female interested Marina, so she mustered all the strength she could and managed to respond with, "Marina." Before laying down and closing her eyes, exhausted.

Icethorn let out a sharp, pained yelp as something big tripped over him, another wolf, he saw. He was dazed slightly, vision filled with black dots, and that was probably the reason he didn't fight when he was picked up by the scruff and taken somewhere else. A cave? He was starting to regain back clarity just as he was set down on a cold stone floor. No snow. He noted, looking around until his icy gaze rested upon a wolf, standing before him and asking if he and another wolf were ok, one he just noticed. A wolf about his age or so. Icethorn gave an aggitated snarl, something one might not expect from someone his age and size, and bared his teeth at the wolf. The one who basically tripped over him like a rock. Thanks to the wolf, he had a throbbing pain in his side and leg, and he guessed that he probably had a broken leg or a sprained paw. "Just peachy." He growled out sarcastically, eyes narrowed in a glare. "I think your clumsiness just broke my rib!" He said, voice raising with a slight note of pain. He just hoped this pack had a good healer. His ears perked forward and he turned his glare to another young wolf, one who introduced themselves as Crystal and asked for his and the female's names were. Waiting for the other female to finish, who he learned was named Marina, he began speaking, with a bit less venom in his voice then he used with the male and a bit more pride and cockiness. "Icethorn, son of Alpha pair Death and Aqua, brother to apprentices Blade and Tear, healer Sage, and warriors Red, Dark, and Blizzard." He said, head held high. It was custom to introduce you and your family also, because in his old pack your family was your pride.

Kyra is in the wilderness, walking farther and farther into the mysterious place that she just encountered. She shivered, pushing herself to keep going the ought he blizzard. She was trembling, and she didn't have any clue where she was heading off to. She glanced around, hoping to find another soul, just to be safe. She walked a bit longer and then froze, hearing voices near her. She backed up a bit and tried to be as quiet as possible so she wasn't seen, though with her luck, collided with a bigger pile of snow, and barked in surprise. She quickly flitted away, hoping none of the voiced souls heard her. Once Kyra thought she was safe, she looked back, to see if anyone was watching, or worse, following her. I need a warm place to stay, she thought. Ahead of her, there was a big tree, with a convenient small space underneath it, just to fit her mini size. She skittered into the space and crouched low, looking back out the space she came in though. She watched the snow crazily fall onto the already snowy terrain.

Artemis watched as Flame entered the den, sealing the entrance with a tangled bramble, ears flicking at his question. "I don't know. Could be hours, or it could be days." She answered, watching his chest rise and fall with each breath almost in a trance like way. She found herself leaning into him, breathing growing heavy. She liked the warmth of another body beside her, though finding it a welcoming familiarity, from when she used to lay down next to her old mate, Teddy. A wave of saddness filled her at the memory of her deceased mate, but she shook the feeling off quickly, moving her head to lay on Flame's neck, making a slight huffing noise. She really didn't want to feel sad anymore. It had been a while since his death, and she was tired of being alone. Maybe it was time to get a mate? She shook her head, as if to dislodge the thoughts from her mind. The storm must be affecting my mind. She thought, closing her eyes and enjoying the quiet peace.

Flame sighs at the response, though he didn't grow aggitated. Wouldn't be that bad if he was stuck in here for that long. Artemis seemed pretty decent, and he really would prefer staying with her if anyone. Flame's breath caught in his throat when Artemis scooted closer to him, pressing her body almost flush to his. His breathing nearly stopped when she came to rest her head on him, and it took him a while to regulate it. He had never been really close to another wolf, and it caused a strange feeling to blossom in him, which bothered him. He was never one for emotions. "That's a strange feeling." He noted out loud, the words slipping from his jaws without thought. He held back a wince, flattening his ears against his cranium, and closing his eyes, waiting for a response.

Kyra awoke from her slumber underneath that tree, and looked around. She saw that she was alone, and decided that maybe she would go to the place where she heard other voices. Kyra slowly got up, and padded out from under the tree, and made her way over to the cave she saw earlier. She heard the voices and felt waves of emotions. As she entered the cave, she didn't see anyone, so Kyra said daringly, "Hello?" She looked around and waited to see if anything would happen, or anyone would respond. Kyra stepped more into the cave, seeing markings on the walls. She looked at then with fascination, wondering how to do something like that. She stepped farther and farther with worry going over her that she would be caught and then she thought bout her family. She remembered how she survived the attack with nothing but a scar on the back of her leg. She wondered what could be in this cave she would encounter and if she had to fight. She inserted that if she had to fight, she'd fight.

Blizzard's head swiveled round, ears perked forward and eyes narrowed as he tried to see something through the snowfall, having heard an unfamiliar voice. He glanced back at Tundra, thinking, before turning and heading for the cave. She would probably follow when she wanted. Besides, there was things to be dealt with. As he stepped into the cave he stopped, growling. He saw Shiklo, Crystal, and two unknown wolves around the age of apprentices sitting close to the entrance of the cave, a large wolf sitting a bit far off, the black pelted male from earlier with Jay laying a bit away, and Blizzard was unsure if he was unconcious or not. Finally there was a female wolf wandering further into the cave, as if she couldn't see the large group of wolves gathered around. He sighed in an aggitated way, shaking his pelt before moving further into the cave. "I am Alpha Blizzard. All new wolves come and state your name and bussiness immediately, or else you will be seen as tresspassing." A vicious sort of grin flickered on to his features, dark green eyes flashing. "And here in Silver Moon, we don't take tresspassers nicely." With that said he turned and walked to the middle of the cave, head raised. "Is anyone missing?" He howled, more addressing his packmates then anyone else.

Kyra looked around as her eyes adjusted to the darkness of the cave and saw a huge bunch of wolves all gathered around. Her ears went up at the voice that rang out proud to her and the others she was addressing. She stopped dead in her tracks and glanced at the staring canines. She took a deep breath, trying to be brave against this mighty croud and she answered the alpha, "M-my name is Kyra and I just wandered into this place, seeking shelter from the cold. I have no intention in hurting anyone, just can you tell me what this place is?" She finished her statement and looked around, hoping that she was being trusted. Having Blizzard so close to her made her ears go down, though she still stood tall, trying to match his proud size.

Alston walked around and watched the wolves talk. She stayed quiet as they talked, hoping they wouldnt spot her. She crouched down as they talked, scared of being hurt like the rouge wolves that had attacked her when she was a pup. She stretched her back and her ragged scar moved with her. Her brown and green eyes scanned the wolves carefully, assessing if she could take them or if she would be overpowered then silently laughed 'it doesn't matter on size' she said in her head. She began to walked and as she was walking she ran into one of the wolves (Blizzard) and yelped. She look at the male in the eye "sorry, I didn't see you" she said dipping her head but keeping it level, not keeping it low enough to show she was all the way submissive.

Blizzard turned to see the female walk up to him, ears perked forward as she began speaking. He nodded, dark green eyes narrowed and watching her carefully. "Your in the den, the heart, of the Silver moon pack. And though I greatly dislike canines just walking into here, I suppose you can stay here until the storm passes. Then you leave, unless you are planning to join?" He finished saying, slight growl bubbling from his throat at her tall stance. He was being uncharacteristically nice, though he doubted that his kindness would last. It took little to cause him to snap. He turned as the dark pelted male walked up to him, dipping his head and tucking into a position of full submission. "I'm Ink. Wishing to join the pack. I was discussing it with the Alphess earlier. I make a very good scout." Ink, interesting. Blizzard made a noise in the back of his throat, thinking. "Very well, you may join. You say you are a good scout? Then let us see. You shall be put in the rank of a scout. Welcome to the pack." He replied, watching the wolf nod excitedly. He started to turn back to Kyra to address her again when he was knocked into. He flipped so quickly, jaws snapping next to the head of the wolf who ran into him. He let out a feral snarl, growl bubbling up in his chest as he saw this wolf wasn't one of his packmembers. Of course. "Is anyone even guarding the cave entrance?!" He roared, anger hitting him in a wave. Blizzard snarled, teeth bared at the new wolf, who tried to look him in the eyes, apoligizing and saying some stupid excuse that she didn't see him. "Why are you even running around in here? Name and bussiness! Now!" He barked out harshly, ready to tear out throats.

Alston watched angrily. She narrowed her eyes, her golden pelt stayed flat even though she was bubbling with anger. This alpha was rude, annoying and just plain old crazy. She kept in her laugh as he tried to scare her "I am Alston, daughter of Elf and Derek, beta of a dead pack" she stated and added "I had been trying to go through these lands and I was tired, I couldn't remember how to smell borders and walked into you" she said. She wasn't scared and it showed in her body language, not to much to be disrespectful but enough to show that she would not submit like the male who had she heard named Ink. He had tucked his tail in his leg, bah! She would just try and be a friend, not a submissive pup.

Blizzard went very still for a moment, ears perked forward to better catch the females words. Excuses. He remained perfectly still, thinking. Smelling boarders was not a skilled to be learned, and could not be easily forgotten. He should probably kill her and be done with it, but in truth, he liked her fearlessness. That was what the pack was made of. Fearless wolves who arn't afraid of picking a fight. He snorted, shaking his head and went to speak, though after a second thought he flicked his tail, in a signal to be at the ready. "Hmmm, sure. Well, Alston, I would throw you out of here to die in the cold but I like your fearlessness. You can stay here and wait out the blizzard with us, but be warry of the others. This is the pack of chaos and death, as it is known." He said, turning and walking off, padding up to Shiklo, Crystal, and the two unknown wolves. "Did you get names?" He asked Shiklo, head tilted curiously. It had been a while since Silver moon had any young wolves.

Kyra gve great thought in what Blizzard had to say about everyone in the cave. SHe listened, ready for attack at any time. She liked the idea as being a loner wolf in the wild, though wolves didn't sirvive in the wild alone. She though for a moment and then answered Blizzard, "I would like to join the pack." She then remembered that Ink said that he would make a good scout. She quickly added, "I'm aggod with herbs, I could be a healer for the pack if you need one." She liked the idea of being a healer. Kyra looked at the wolves around in the room. Then returning her gaze at Blizzard. She decided to lower her head into a more friendly way, so that she didn't seem like a threat for the other pack members.

Alston smiled. She suddenly realized this was a pack. Something she had been dreaming of since she was a pup. She stood up strait and walked over to the alpha. She dipped her head but looked him in the eyes. Even though she was looking him in the eyes her gaze showed he was the alpha and he was boss. She needed his trust to join his pack. Of course she wouldn't be a scared submissive pack member like the female next to her was (Kyra). She would be strong and fearless, just like her brave and noble parents that had risked their lives for her. She smiled "Alpha may I join this pack. I am good with fighting not very good at sneaking" she explained.

Everything happened in such a blur after Crow retreated to the dens. A blizzard started and then suddenly the pack was scrambling to get everybody safe inside. He remained cool, watching the pack move in the normal chaotic manor that it did. It was only when Blizzard erupted from the entrance of the den, asking if there were anybody missing, did he really jump into action. Crow ran through the cave, dipping his head into each den to check for any missing wolves. As he moved out of his den he saw Axel laying down, making a count of 2 out of the three new arrivals. Where was Flame? As he moved about the cave he noticed that Artemis was also gone, and he suddenly remembered that she went on a hunting patrol. He moved towards his Alpha swiftly, bowing his head respectfully in greeting when he arrived at the white brute's side. Crow spaired a glance at the two new wolves asking to join, faintly remembering hearing there conversation with Blizzard as they introduced themselves. He nodded at them briskly in greeting. "Two wolves are missing. Hunter Artemis and Flame, one of the three new arrivals that we dealt with earlier. Before the storm. The other new arrivals are Ink and Axel. Both here, both checked out. Seems Axel might make a good warrior. What are going to do with the two missing wolves?" He asked, standing taller then probably most of the other pack members. Being of second highest rank allowed him to do that. Turning to the two wolves, Kyra and Alston, he began to speak. "My name is Crow, male beta of this pack." Lowering his voice, he leaned closer and said in a low voice,

"And you two don't worry about Blizzard. He can be real nice, when he isn't trying to rip wolves throats out."

He winked, grinning in a reasuring way. He wanted everyone feeling at ease, even for just the moment. They were probably going to be stuck there for a while. He turned back to his alpha, waiting for a response.

Alston watched the male talk to the alpha. It seemed he was a beta, just as her parents where. She hummed and watched him carefully, he was very organized. She looked up "Hello I am Alston, Nice to meet you Crow. Yes I can tell, I wouldn't respond well to random wolves coming to my den" she laughed. She raised her head almost as high as his, a sigh of respect. She never liked to show she was too submissive, she felt weak doing that. Her brown green eyes where happy and calm. She hoped and prayed on the inside that the alpha would let them join but on the outside she looked emotionless, just as she was taught.
